——
As a scenographer, I design spaces where stories take physical form. From my experience as a medical clown, I bring humour and humanity to places of vulnerability. And as a theatre maker, I direct devised performances where objects, puppets and bodies become vessels of meaning.
My practice lives at the intersection of craft and concept, where meticulous design meets raw emotional impact. Whether designing masks that seem to breathe, collaborating across disciplines, or probing the philosophical edges of performance, I strive to create work that moves — both literally and metaphorically.
Jeries AbuJaber is a Palestinian artist born in Bethlehem and based in Prague. A performer since 2013 and scenographer since 2016, he holds an MA in Directing of Devised and Object Theatre from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (2025). He is an active member of Dafa Theatre in Prague.
