Giant Puppets

Jeries's scenographic practice began with puppet design and grew through a deep engagement with materials and objects. Giant puppets — built for festivals, street theatre and community events across Palestine, Germany and the Czech Republic — remain at the heart of that practice.

From design and construction to puppeteering, each figure is an exercise in giving breath to material: recycled fabrics, foam, wood and paper becoming characters larger than their makers.
