Eco Flight

Dancers soar like a flock of birds — leaps, spins, twists and somersaults 25 metres above the audience. The Hungarian vertical dance company The Flock Project turns the world upside down, performing on building façades, castle walls and in mid-air, blending theatre and aerial acrobatics with live music and light projections.

Eco Flight reflects on environmental challenges: the costumes are made from recycled materials collected through waste campaigns — coffee capsules, fishing nets and PET bottles. A collaboration between Hungarian, Spanish, Czech and Slovak partners, fusing jazz and folk music led by composer János Vázsonyi with the Kaptza ensemble. Jeries designed the giant masks, puppets and costumes.
